Thing #7

I had a great experience with Flickr! I can't believe I have never checked it out before.  There are some really unique and amazing photos on this website. I downloaded an application for my android phone and it is so easy to use.  I just take a picture through the app and and a tag and title and it uploads it directly to Flickr.

I may be able to use Flickr in the classroom if I ever need to show a specific category of pictures. However, I will be teaching Elementary school, so it may be a little tricky to get it into the curriculum.

I currently use Snapfish as m photo hosting service besides Flickr.  Snapfish is also very easy and they send me lots of great deals and discounts through email. However, they do not have an app for me to upload pictures directly from my cell phone.  My cell phone is my digital camera, so I like to have an easy upload process.

I do not mind my photos being in a public place as long as there aren't any faces or names in them. I can always change them to private if needed.

  1. I have never heard of Snapfish, I will have to check that out, I love deals and discounts! I would not want the general public looking at personal photos, but I like that you have the option to share with friends on Flickr. I have found some beautiful pictures by some really talented photographers on there. If I were going into that field it would be a great way to get recognized.
