Igoogle is a fantastic home page for everyone to have on their computer. It has your favorite news and interests. It keeps your personal blogs, emails, weather, gadgets, etc. all in one place. I am anxious to add more favorite things to my page. I am going to put my bookmarks on there too. It's very easy to use and personalize. Also, it's free!
I just added my calendar and a notepad to-do list! This is really exciting!

Thing #11
The Google Blog Search was the easiest search engine for me to find blogs. I added one called http://www.freetech4teachers.com/. I found a website through searching called www.stumbleupon.com. It is similar to Pinterest in that it presents websites and things that interest you. However, you do not follow your friends. It does require registration but it is free. I like the free tech for teachers website as well. I found a useful feed about technology in the classroom that will help me as a teacher. I also just simply searched for educational blogs. I did not come across an unusual feed.

Google in general is an amazing tool. The company offers so many different free products and I love that they all automatically correlate. From Blogger, to Reader, to Gmail, to Documents, Google is a spectacular product for teachers and students to discover.
Reader RSS is such a simple way to view all the blogs you follow and check for updates. I like that you can view recommended items and subscribe to new pages. I will be able to use this as a student at APSU by subscribing to chosen blogs in two of my classes this semester. Just as I check my e-mail daily, I can now check my Reader daily.
I could use this as a teacher to keep up with other teacher's blogs and get advice from them as well. RSS keeps everything in one place so you will always have it where you need it.

This was the logo maker at TXT2PIC.com. It was very simple and easy to use.
These were made at happyfacegenerator.com. It also was extremely easy to use. I could make lots of signs to enforce rules and procedures in my Elementary classroom. It would be good for announcements as well. Maybe I could attach them to popsicle sticks and hold them up to get the students' attention.
Sooooo cute! Aubrie and Skyler are my children and they will always be my Valentines! This was made at ImageChef.com. The website makes it very easy to put your image to Facebook, Blogger, Twitter, etc.
