Thing #23
I will use Creative Commons as a teacher to know what these specific licenses mean. I feel that CC just made copyrights even more complicated, but it may help when I am a teacher to be able to use some things without gaining permission. It is still a good idea.

Livebinders is a very unique website! I love that it is free and similar to dropbox.com. You can use it on any computer with internet available and keep all your websites with you and organized at all times. I will be using this when I am a teacher. I plan on putting my favorite websites from our diigo accounts into my teacher binders. I named my binders, educational now, educational later, and teacher resources.

Parallel Parking-FAIL!

I love youtube.com even though I rarely have time to check it out. People tell me funny videos to watch all the time. If I see something hilarious on the news about a youtube video, then I will go check it out. I think it will be useful as a teacher too! I will be able to find videos on just about anything and be able to share them with students when it is appropriate. Maybe once a week I can show a funny, yet appropriate video to my students just for fun.
PS- I couldn't figure out how to specifically add just the video to the blog, so I hyperlinked it instead. :)

Thing #19
I am a member of several online communities such as, IMDB, Flixster, Pinterest, etc. I just joined Teacher Pop and I am waiting to be approved so that I can check it out. I am sure that when I become a teacher I will be using a lot more of these sites to come up with lesson plans and discipline ideas, as well as classroom management. A lot of internet sites and technology are not appealing so much to me as a full-time student and mother of two.
Thing #18
I have a differing opinion on Facebook and Twitter. I recently deleted my Facebook account, due to possible security issues. I was worried after watching the video about predators being able to discover your locations based on the pictures on my site. I still have a twitter account, however, I only use it to follow other educational sources. This is the only reason that these sites may be useful to teachers. I also decided that Facebook is an easy way for people to snoop in on your life rather than actually taking the time to have a relationship with you. I don't want to accidentally post something inappropriate and be reprimanded for it by the APSU College of Education. Twitter seems to have more useful features than Facebook. I don't think a classroom or school application would be appropriate without censorship.

Thing #17
Tagging and social bookmarking can be very useful for teachers. However, I do not find it very difficult to find good sites, so I do not see the reason to complicate things even more by having to look through everyone else's favorite sites. I wouldn't want my favorites to become public either. I can see how it may be useful for other, but I do not think I will be using this one very often.
